So apparently I was banned and don’t understand why. I was playing a few games back to back in matchmaking and every one was glitching extremely bad so I had to quit. I heard you get banned for that. If so, for future reference how many quits get you banned, and for how long does the ban last? So I know next time my games are glitching really bad I know to just stop playing or suck it up. Lord only knows why 343 decides oh hey we don’t know why you quite but we are going to ban you. Too bad they really don’t care to talk to anyone about their problems or be on a personal level. If anyone can give me a heads up on the above two questions I would greatly appreciate it.
It’s an automated system. 343I isn’t going to go through every player list and ban. You had a few quits, probably enough to warrant the ban. As for how long, I cannot say.
As Noble138 has said, the ban system in Halo games is automated algorithm and not controlled by an actual person. Quit bans are usually only for an hour, so you should be up and playing soon. To avoid this, the best advice is to continue playing and not quit no matter how bad the game is, otherwise you will be banned again.
How about accidental team kill bans? I mean I haven’t been kicked for it in awhile and I hadn’t all day today.

That is good advice when the match is not glitching like crazy and forcing you into a quit. It could be that the game was glitching like crazy in all those games he supposedly quit. Sometimes it happens. Same with getting booted for accidental betrayals which he could have had as well.
I do wish we had a revenge feature allowed. If someone does X amount of damage or kills you once, you get to do twice as much in return. (so if someone breaks your shield/plasma pistols a vehicle in heavy, you get to kill them.
Sad thing is? Nothing to prevent people from completely throwing matches for revenge as it is now. Someone can simply wait behind you, the second you take a single shot, sticky - you are dead, and they dont get penalized.
I think I figured out what it was. BTW the Halo Reach ban thing is kind of dead. I got banned because I didn’t leave games to exit out my wife and didn’t use her controller to give her a few kills and we got banned. I don’t know for how long and Reach did not specify. I’m at a loss here guys. It is bad enough being banned for this, worse for not knowing for how long. I played for 2 hours afterwords hoping it’d end after that. It didn’t I want to work on getting my weekly but why bother if I can’t win it?
I got temporarily banned from earning Credits any one know why first time i saw this. I wasn’t Boosting either my 9 yo son was playing reach it has been 4 days now
Too be honest I have quit a few times and never have been banned. In fact I didn’t even know it was in halo 4. I knew it was in reach and 3, but I thought they discontinued it.

What reason would they have to discontinue it?
It was just what I thought.
> It was just what I thought.
Understandable. It’s just the quit ban is a standard fare for most video games.
I got banned from Halo 4!! I don’t know why 343 Industries would banned me no reason?!
there are over 600 people who plays Halo 4 in 2018!

Please don’t revive old topics, thanks, especially ones that are over 3 and a half years old
Your service record shows that you have a lot of DNF games in your history so you have very likely been banned automatically for quitting too many games. Out of your game history you have finished 8 out of 20 games - which is only 40%
