If you make your team lose, throw games to help someone else win, or don’t play for 5 games straight, your in one way or another boosting.
You may be playing to have fun, but others may be playing to win, so when you throw the game or make your buddy win or something, your ruining the game for someone else. So you got punished for making the game less fun for everyone else.

No, but if the OP is throwing the game he is ruining the game for the people on his team on purpose. there is a difference between doing bad, and throwing a game.

Did you ever top to think you’re ruining other people’s good time? Yes, it’s game but do you think it would be fun if we were playing monopoly and every 5 turns I upset the board and we have to restart? Well you might, but other players might not, and their opinion on fun matters just as much as yours.

His “TEAM” was him and a friend. He was not Ruining the game for his team because his team was in on it.
That is still considered throwing a game. Still against the rules.
And if they don’t kill anyone for 5 games in a given amount of time, it’s considered AFKing, and will get them credit banend for 24 hours.
P.S. Check the game history. It’s not just doubles.
Today he played a game of BTB. went 0 and 15. I think that counts as throwing the game.
Look further back in his history and you can see multiple games where he had 0 kills or a negative number. That will get you credit banned.

You belong in the Special Olympics. If you want to screw around with your friends, that’s fine. But when you drag other people, ie. opponents in matchmaking, into your immature stupidity it is no longer fine. Grow up!

Don’t forget the opposing team. I for one will quit games when matched with or against morons like the OP. Why should I get a quit warning or risk getting banned myself for leaving a game where a party of idiots has congregated with one goal in mind; to piss off other members. The OP is a dolt and people that think like him are what is ruining Halo. They believe that their unsporting behavior is somehow justifiable because they paid for membership. Getting a good match is difficult enough without the element of morons.

I dont think he should get banned for this. If it’s just him and his buddy playing andthey suck at halo it just makes it an easy win for the other team. they arn’t ruining it for anyone else in the game so this particular instance in my opinion is not ban worthy. If they were doing this in a larger team where other players on his team are being affected that would be different.
