Is this a joke? I was playing just now and left a match because I literally had to leave my house, got back, and I am banned until the 12th. Six fking days. For leaving one match that I couldn’t stay in. So it was either go AFK and feed the enemy kills or do the sensible thing and leave so as to not be as much of a detriment. I believe before this (like seriously two days prior, PLENTY of time to reset my leave warning), I had only EVER left one match. And that was because it was a 1v4, and you cannot fking tell me to “stick through it” when all I can do is be spawn killed until the game is over. Surely this is a bug and you guys aren’t actually throwing out WEEK LONG BANS for this sh*t. Not everybody’s reason for leaving is simply because the new maps are garbage (really, they are. leave the map designs to Bungie please.) or because they’re salty. It’s incredible how little you’ve considered when putting this dumpster fire of a system in.
You know, I’d completely understand if this system ONLY counted for a competitive playlist. But I was in Social Games. It is literally called SOCIAL GAMES. Why the fck should I get banned FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK FOR LEAVING “SOCIAL GAMES”? Aren’t games meant to be fun? If your players are leaving games, it’s probably because it’s a fcking infuriating match that is no fun at all. Why are you penalizing players for trying to have fun elsewhere? How f*cking contradictory. You’re expecting players to put up with the agony of it all while holding a gun to their head saying “if you leave you’re going to get banned”.
Honestly I’m not gonna be surprised if this post is deleted or if I am met with “Please refer to this thread where you won’t find your answer because it’s five years old and hundreds of pages long”. If some sympathetic staff member is seriously considering replying to this, at least put effort into it. I absolutely do not want a shallow, careless reply. Give me a proper reason as to why this is a totally valid ban and I won’t complain.
