Over the past 2 weeks of matchmaking,
I go through the “Connecting Session…” set of issues
65% of the time it will connect me with players, then immediately go to “Restarting Session”
25% I won’t even see the other players before “Restarting Session”
10% it will kick me right back to the Multiplayer match selection lobby with “Leaving Multiplayer”
After 4 or 5 attempts and 10 minutes later it will finally connect me to a match and load right into the map. These are the good times.
However, once I complete 3 or so matches with this occurring every time in between I will get the “Leaving Multiplayer” message.
This time it notifies me that I have a 10 minute ban before I can join multiplayer again!
From what I read it is likely the ban from leaving my team during a match, but I have never left a match because I know how terrible it is to have the match become one sided as your teammates leave. Therefore, the automated system recording these connection issues above as Quitting.
I am playing Halo : MCC (PC) as a solo in the Social games matchmaking (Swat, Snipers, Infection, BTB).
Anyone find a workaround for this in the meantime until the server issues are fixed? It’s probably NAT coming back to haunt me, isn’t it?
It wouldn’t be so bad if I could Alt-tab and work on something else during the 10 minute wait, but then I will get kick for inactivity.
Staying in the same lobby with the same people would also be nice to prevent having to go through the wait again.
Your support is appreciated (even if it just your condolences).
Thanks!
