Banned because of map design.

From what I can tell I have been banned for 4 hours for repeated suicides by attempting to get the armor power up on the platform on orion, which is designed to be difficult to reach and result in suicide if you miss.

Seems to be totally unfair to me, how can you design a part of the map to intentionally result in suicide and then ban players because of it?

Supposedly they’re going to be removing that map from the rotation until they fix that issue.

But yeah, you’re not the only one, from what I’ve heard.

You broke the first rule of Orion . . . never go for the useless damage boost!

I haven’t played on that map since I got a ban for the same ‘offence’, but did you try using the ground pound to aim for the small platform? I only thought of using that to get to the power up a few days afterward.

Yep, I try and avoid that one too.

Only played the map twice but fell for the “pointless powerup” that I could probably of done without!

It’s not difficult at all. Use the man canon and as soon as your you’re high enough to be able to ground pound on the platform, do so in order to stay in the air. Look to the platform and use thrusters while not using your analog sticks. Clamber if necessary.

But they removed the map anyway haha

Ok. I mentioned this last night. Now I know why my son got temp banned. It all makes sense now. This is a huge fail on 343. They need to fix a lot of things in this game. We need a social playlist for beginners. No not warzone either.
