So I never leave a game first, but I was just in yet another 3v4 so I jump off the edge 3 times and they have banned me. I was getting slaughtered, why is what I did unsportsmanlike?

I suppose I could wiggle my joystick every two minutes instead? Give the opponents free kills? Is that more sporting?

It was basically the same thing as making it a 2v4. If there was a teammate missing you can still win, but not helping your team by being afk too long, repeated self-destructs, or betreyal counts as being unsportsmanlike.

Whether you were getting stomped or it was 3v4 is irrelevant. The point is the game must have viewed you as a griefer and hit you with a pop-up. It normally takes a few matches before they punish you like this, so you must have done this for at least a handful of matches or players were reporting you for this behavior.
Next time just don’t waste any more time and quit the match or just keep playing until it’s over.

I will still get banned for quitting. So just to clarify, I should’ve let the other team keep getting unfair kills, or end up with same fate of quitting. And yes I don’t stay for unfair matches, and I shouldn’t be banned for doing so. They need to figure something else out. If you disagree with this i have heard it all before.

I don’t mean to be rude but if you are getting banned because of your actions caused by other people on your team, you might be better off doing rumble pit.
Yes or eventually I will join the mass exodus and quit… I’m trying to avoid this and venting about the hypocrisy of the banning helps

I understand your frustration, but you’re missing the point. You are quitting too much. The system doesn’t care if you’re getting stomped or if the game has lopsided teams, it is just trying to do it’s job. So quitting or cheating or betraying is still viewed as a punishable offense even in matches you label as “unfair.” The most ideal thing to do is finish the matches that you started. If you can’t, or don’t want to or have an emergency or whatever, then just quit… but always know, if you quit too much and too often you will be punished for it. (quitting 3 or 5 games within 2 hours is ALOT of quitting and the system will ping you for it… space out your quits more and you’ll avoid this issue)
Ranked is the only playlist that will allow you to quit a match with no repercussions but you have to have a team mate quit out before you can quit. Social playlists don’t have a ranking or anything important to worry about losing, so the system punishes players who quit out of Social playlists no matter what.
Only when it’s a 3v4 or worse… the hypocrisy I’m referring to, is that I’m not being unsportsmanlike by jumping off the edge. If it’s too much, than it’s 3v4 too much

I only play ranked basically
The system thinks you are being unsportsmanlike though. Why? Because killing yourself, betraying and quitting is still seen as a bad thing regardless of the match you were in. Until you realize that, you will never stop dealing with this issue. Do bad things less and you’ll get punished less… it’s as simple as that.
And if the matches are always so uneven, then maybe find a squad before you enter Ranked? That would be the most intelligent thing to do… or you can keep doing what you’re doing and see if it will suddenly have a new outcome that you like?
used to love playing with my squad but they all left 
that’s the trouble I got onyx with my squad, now I think I’m way over ranked or something… I’d rather be carried after my 4 thousandth game I’m done being the alpha.
Bad things is relative and if a video game punishes me than maybe I should reconsider playing it. Thank you for your help
You can’t win a 3v4 when it’s team obj if your opponents have any level of competence

Here, try it this way… next time you are crushing the enemy team and the enemy has no chance of winning… starting killing yourself and see what happens then… the system is going to ban you for that as well. Why? Because win or lose… fair or unfair… there are rules that have to be followed, and the system is going to follow them… just because YOU say the match is unfair, maybe your team mates don’t give up that easily and might be trying to find some fun with what’s left in the match… but you killing yourself or hiding has effectively ruined any chances of them finding fun in the game. And again, this system doesn’t punish for one time offenses… so that ONE or TWO times your team hid with you is irrelevant because you have obviously done this long enough for the system to mark you as a potential quitter/griefer.
I don’t get it, what happened to having bots fill in for players who leave?
I always assumed that was the major benefit of the bots, that they could jump in to matches when players left.

As far as I know, bots don’t show up in ranked.
