I hate the banished weapon kills challenge. Gravity hammer kills dont seem to count. Sword kills dont count. Sentinel beam and cinder shot doesnt count. Other banished weapons suck and are tought to get kills with.

Sentinel beam, cindershot and heatwave are forerunner/promethean weapons.
Why hammer and sword don’t count doesn’t make any sense at all. Also had three out of four challenges as banished weapon kills.

It’s a bug that’s been around since they made the challenge. It doesn’t count power weapon kills. So no sword, hammer or skewer.
My Skewer kills count as Banished, so it’s stranger than that. It’s very odd that they haven’t added the relevant power weapons to the acceptable weapons list. Can’t remember if the Spanker counts for the UNSC weapon challenges because I don’t have to think about those ones very much, so maybe the Skewer shouldn’t be counting.
Rockets do and the last time I have this challenge before season 3 the skewer kills didn’t count for me. Tha may have changed.

Small victories I guess. By next season we can have the Sword or Hammer but not both, that would be too much.
So I just checked my Halo support ticket and I can confirm that I watched a game of Fiesta I played not count my skewer, hammer and sword kills so it was all 3 banished power weapons for that. It was “Atriox’s Chosen” and this new one is “Blades & Glory”. Ironic that the sword doesn’t count.

I definitely got some Skewer kills counting this season because it was on live fire and there wasn’t any other Banished weapons other than plasma pistol and spike grenades and I sure as hell didn’t get any kills with them.
