Do you reckon we will be able to hijack and control Banished vehicles such as the Marauder and Blisterback? I think the Blisterback would be really fun to control.

Depends on whether or not they actually appear in the game.
Outside of the Marauder, Locust, and any returning vehicles(Ghost, Chopper, etc) I don’t really see any of the other HW2 Banished vehicles really working in a mainline Halo game. Artillery like the Blisterback doesn’t really fit in Halo’s smaller scale combat and something like say the Reaver is too niche.
That doesn’t mean we couldn’t see them in the campaign as non playable vehicles ala the AA Wraith or the Goblin, but most of them just don’t make much sense as fully playable vehicles in the context of a core Halo game.

We don’t know how big the multiplayer maps are going to be. A Forge canvas map is plenty big enough for a Blisterback.
They could probably adjust the reaver’s role to be the ‘banished mantis’ effectively. To be honest, it being an AA unit feels forced as is. I hope the blisterback makes it in, but I feel like its role would have to be adjusted.

If I wanted to play Battlefield I would play Battlefield. “Long range” in Halo is ~100 meters. The Halo sandbox is just fundamentally not built for large scale gameplay, certainly not large enough to meaningfully support artillery. And even Battlefield is barely big enough to support artillery where it is often frustrating to deal with and unengaging to use unless all you care about is your KDR.
A playable blisterback is a waste of resources to implement if it is only going to be usable in a forge canvas.

You’re probably right. With vehicles such as the Sabre, Seraph, Pelican, and Broadsword now playable, I guess I just assumed the same would be done for the Blisterback.
