Banished Vehicles vs UNSC Vehicles

I’d like to hear your thoughts on the vehicles in Halo: Infinite.

At the current moment, I have to say UNSC vehicles are far better than Banished vehicles. They’re easier to drive/pilot and the Sandbox is perfect. However, I will say I’m disappointed about the Rocket Warthog. I say that because I miss how it fires all 6 rockets at once. I think the regular Warthog would be able to kill quicker than that. I am enjoying the Wasp though. It seems it’s gotten more health and deals more damage than Halo 5. Although somewhat off tangent, I’m upset that the Rocket Launcher can’t lock onto aerial vehicles anymore. It’s good at taking out enemy players, decent with ground vehicles, but you’re pressing your luck when it comes to aerial vehicles.

As for Banished vehicles, I have been doing pretty bad with them in terms of driving and getting kills. When I boost or turn sharp corners with the Chopper, it basically becomes a motorcycle and it gets stuck on it’s side and I get killed as I try to flip it. The Ghost is slightly different, by I feel the plasma guns don’t do near enough damage. The Wraith I haven’t really used yet since it’s rarely dropped onto the battlefield.

And the Banshee…(Excuse me while I clench my fists.)
What the hell did 343 do with the Banshee?! I get that it’s a Banished version of the one we all know and love, but…It sucks! It’s glass. Not a glass cannon. Just glass. It dies so quickly. The plasma guns don’t do near enough damage. And the Banshee Bomb…What the hell? It feels more like a Ravager or something. It’s not a one hit kill any more and it barely does area of effect damage. And it doesn’t lock onto aerial vehicles anymore.

Seriously, when it comes to the Banshee, it’s like they transferred some of it’s power level to the Wasp. They should’ve just made it an even balance. Both are well armored, have strong primary and secondary weapons, but each one moves differently. Banshee is faster and can ‘do a barrel roll’ while the Wasp has more verticality and move left and right with ease.

343, if you’re reading this, fix the Banshee. That’s the one vehicle that really needs to be fixed.

I agree. The Banished vehicles play and feel weaker than the UNSC vehicles, and the Chopper feels really out of place.

It can’t critical vehicles with its ram, it’s hard to hit players with, there’s almost no gravity weighing it down, and overall it’s just… eh to use.

I agree about the gravity. While it felt slower in Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST, it felt real due to it’s weight, and the fact you can’t ram through vehicles is such a missed opportunity. It felt so satisfying ramming through vehicles, or two Choppers getting destroyed at the same time was fun. The old Choppers had a sense of strategy to them, knowing the right time to boost. Now, it just boosts like the Ghost pretty much.
