Banished OP - Shield and Cloak

Banished are too OP for their base shield and cloak.
Humans have meagre units to detect cloaked units and bases. Snipers die to quickly as well as the nightengale and wolverine… not mention no one uses jack rabbits.
Watch tower on base should have search ability similar to Star Craft where you can search a radius and decloak units and bases within that radius.
Turrets at base don’t even detect cloaked units which is pretty ridiculous.

Just to make sure i have to ask, are you talking about people useing shields+cloak only with the current method of stacking their effect? How would base turrets detecting a cloaked base help? Watchtowers can actually detect cloaked bases however it requires the two bases to be close without useing full watchtower on the slots.

For example in Star Craft, you select the watchtower, and it will have an ability to search an area (cost x amount of resources) and for a decent amount of time. That area will then be “scanned” and everything will be decloaked and visable

I kind of like the idea, but more as a leader power than a tower ability.

Having a moderate cool-down time would be sufficient so as to keep it from being a scouting tool and more of a reveal tool - for when you need to fully detect a base for a brief period of time.

A longer cool-down itself would prevent using it for scouting as you couldn’t reliably scout with it. You’d be waiting too long, and still would only be able to spot-search small areas of the map.

yeah it would be interesting, but i would suggest for it to be t2 or later power to keep it from a early power rush cheese.
