The Banished were just confirmed for Halo Infinite! This is insane! I’d love to hear your guys’ opinions on this!

well at least now i can finally understand why the aliens are there for me to shoot unlike 4 or 5
Looks like we could have a return to some of the better elements of halo. I remain cautiously optimistic.
I didn’t really like how they added back the banished.
Hopefully they’ll be a good add.

In what way have they been retconned? All we know is the Banished are back. The ones we encounter in Halo: Infinite could be a different group.
As far as I’m aware, there is nothing in Halo Wars 2 that says, or even remotely suggests, that the Banished in that game is all there is. There could very well be pockets of them scattered in places across the galaxy.
