I would really appreciate it if 343 Industries would use a more intelligent banning software that doesn’t consistently ban me for no reason. I can’t tell you how many times I will play through a game and then as soon as I leave the game, ONCE IT IS OVER, to go back into matchmaking, I get hit with a message saying how the mighty “banhammer” strikes once again. It’s bad enough I have to carry a team, leave a won match, to get hit with a ban almost every. single. day. I guess 343 can’t handle me playing well. The key is to stay away from “they.” They don’t want you to win!!!
Anyway, FIX THE BANNING SYSTEM, 343!!!
6 out of your last 30 Arena matches have been DNFs, and the last 3 were all fairly close together. I’ve had trouble with being disconnected mid-game through no fault of my own (ISP has been known to have issues with various game traffic), and when the DNFs were close together, I received a short ban. Every now and then it will happen again, and the ban has gotten a little longer. Thankfully it’s only happened to me twice so far, but friends that I’ve talked to have said that their ban times stack, and are more frequent the more frequent the DNFs are.
Keeping it simple, just don’t quit. If you’re getting disconnected because of hardware issues, take a break and see if you can troubleshoot it.
