Banhammer time is CRAZY

Ok so my wife got me an xbox one for christmas and halo 5 along with it. Awesome game I really enjoy it. The campaign was amazing and multiplayer is great however I wish there were BR starts and I am not a fan of warzone. Anyways what brings me to my point is my internet connection is really strong but sometimes it just cuts out and disconnects me temporarily. I have only quit maybe3 or 4 matches since christmas and they were because of emergencies having to do something or take care of my 6 month old son. Yesterday I was banned from all matchmaking for over 8 hours. Today I got DC’d once and quit a match a few games prior and I now have a 23 hour ban. If this continues idk what really to say. I think the banhammer is nice because it prevents a lot of people from -Yoink- around but the consequences i feel are too severe. As a father who works a lot and likes to enjoy the 2 maybe 3 hours a day i get to myself if im lucky I would like to enjoy it playing online but it seems I can not do that. I’m very upset with the banhammer overall I just think it needs to be reworked… tremendously. I shouldn’t have to not be able to play a game my wife paid money for for 23 hours and 59 minutes because I quit 1 match. That is ridiculous.

I agree but there are people who frequently quit and they deserve the ban. It’s better to punish a few innocents than to let guilty people go who will ruin the game for others. I kind of see it as the lesser of two evils, but that is just my opinion.

9 Dnf’s in your first 4 pages of game history, better call your isp.

As a father with a son you must know that actions have consequences now sit in time out until 343 says you can get up.

This is ridiculous. The problem is how do you know who is a working dad and who is an 8 year old with a short attention span.

i can see quitting every once in a while but you’re quitting a lot. It ruins the experience for others.

Why do people even complain about getting banned? They can only be earned so it’s your fault that you have been banned.
