I was playing Halo 5 and i went inactive for a game because i went downstairs to LET MY GIRLFRIEND IN MY DAMN APARTMENT, only to return to the announcement that i was hit with a banhammer and could not play more. This is absolute stupidity and is yet another reason I have begun to start regretting 343 studios, missing one game should not constitute a banhammer

I Hadn’t played till now…I agree with your the below post - after a good amount of thought and some great discussion with players I realized if I had of just stuck out those games with the players I couldn’t stand to play with they would have eventually quit out of future games and banhammered themselves!
The same players with bad attitudes that I couldn’t stand are the same players that rage quit out!
Didn’t think I would so quickly become a Banhammer supporter but the more I think about it the more it actually makes sense, although the banhammer is not without its casulties like I pointed out above my DNF is 7.5%, not including the dedicated server failing.and it actually gets lower if I go further back…but, I can deal with that if it keeps the butthurt quitters and bad attitudes further away!
Mate, sadly there needs to be a constant ban rate. The game cannot tell if you HAD to leave or where FORCED to leave whether or not you just rage quit. If you want people who quit and screw their team over cause they are butthurt to be punished the ban times need to be consistent.

There is a ban thread now and you’ve got 3 dnfs in less the 20 games.
