The Banhammer strikes happen to you when you “leave the game server to many times” essentially it means leaving a game mid-match. This is rather frustrating for a lot of people, now for people who somehow magically have never gotten these strikes if you leave a game once a day or something you’re banned for 30 minutes from arena or warzone, but people have lives they have to attend to it doesn’t revolve around halo, or even if you wanted to leave a game and join a friend, you’re banned. or if you’re banned from all arena games yeah sure you can play warzone. witch makes no sense, they made the banhammer strikes so stupid but I’m not saying they should remove the strikes I’m saying the should make the rules a bit looser so you can leave one match without being banned. tell me what you think even though it seems like 343 is ignoring the fans.

I have a job that require between 40-90 hours a week has an on-call status, family with medical issues I have to care for, live in a rural area where one good storm can knock the power out, extremely needy friends, two pets, and still manage to play halo on a regular basis. I have not been banned for quitting/DNFS.

They should make it so that you could ask to be unbanned if you have a good reason.

No, everything I told you was true. I have never been banned for quitting/dnfs. I don’t leave games unless I absolutely have too. You don’t quit, you won’t get banned. 7 out of your last 20 arena games are DNFS. 5 out of your last 20 warzone are DNFS. Generally when I count DNFS it takes about 10% of recent or total matches to get a ban (I do think that losing matches and frequent quits are rated higher.) You are well over that mark.
Either way this discussion belongs in the thread I linked.
OP–you’ve got a DNF on 4 out of your last seven Arena games. Frankly speaking you deserve to be banned with that kind of quit/finish ratio.

OR he takes halo way too seriously/neglects other things momentarily just to finish matches. I havent had time for games in months

No, I just only play when I know I’m going to be able to finish a match. That doesn’t take much, just some consideration for the people you’d be playing with.
