Banned for 24hours!!! WTF I didnt do anything wrong! Played for 45 minutes or so i finished my last game and exited to go to another app. Came back after an hour and BAM! NO halo 5 for 24hrs! Really disappointed…
Its probably do to the amount of games that you quit early on. The banhammer is a bit more sensitive in this game when it comes to quitting. Also did you have a lot of betrayals or suicides? Those are also banhammer worthy.

Disconnects count in as well.
This is just me though, but quite a few of those DNFs look like rage quits, or alternatively, booted from the game due to being AFK.

Being disconnected is a possibility my internet has been shotty for a while just now fixed it.

Depends on what App it is, but yes, if it’s a lighter app then Halo will run in the background.
Ok well that explains it then. I find it funny how many people replied so quickly on a useless subject and sit there and be -Yoinks!- about it. Its seems that is all they want to do it bash people online because they dont have the balls to do it in person. Have a good evening everyone. Thanks for NOTHING. 
Honestly its because every one of these threads are the same. Someone complains about bans, you look at their game history and there are quite a few dnf’s. I get it, stuff happens, internet drops, you accidentally power off the console, etc. Stuff legit happens, but not day after day after day after day. Find a way to stop the dnf’s and you won’t get banned. It’s nothing against you personally, there are just a ton of these threads.
As far as other apps, just leave matchmaking. You don’t have to back all the way out of Halo, just don’t let it put you in another match. Go to the main menu and you are good.
I love threads like these, people post that they’ve just gotten banned, then the whole community comes together to collectively -Yoink- on them with proof that they are lying -Yoinks!-…
