First off I would like to request that the moderators do not lock this thread in favor of the “Why was I banned thread?” because I understand perfectly why I have been banned. I made this thread to propose a change that needs to be made to the Banhammer system that I think everyone will agree is fair. Now, I have had several occasions where my system will disconnect right at the very end of the game for some reason. I’m not talking about when the scoreboard says 49-49 with 20 seconds left on the clock, I mean for some reason I disconnect after the game is already over and the game is playing the outro animation of the winning team celebrating.
I don’t know what is causing these disconnections, it may be my internet and for that I would take responsibility if I disconnected during a game, which is fine because I understand that there is a need for such a thing. But I think that most of you could probably understand my frustration when I find myself banned for half an hour because the game decided to kick me while the winning team is doing their little celebration. I propose that as soon as the banner drops down over the screen and you can hear Steitzer saying “Victory” or “Defeat” that the game for every player in the game should be considered finished. That way if someone leaves after the game is over it doesn’t count as a DNF. I find it particularly strange because I still got my experience and REQ points for the game, but it still counted it as a DNF and banned me.

Social is the same as Arena, only they hide your skill rank as a means of “pairing you up with a more level playing field as you’ll be against similar ranked players”. Oh, and 343i thinks adding “Social” to a game mode makes it that.
Well its not really social then, what a shock.
