So I’ve been playing some halo today on my day off. To be completely transparent I did quit a couple of games this afternoon… Most of which someone else had already quit and we were getting our -Yoinks!- kicked 3 versus 4. Anyway, I’ve been banned twice today. Once for over 3 hours. It seems to me that the banhammer strikes after finishing a game that I did not quit, but once the game is over and it tries to return me to the Post-Game lobby, I’ll get a “error connecting to server” message. This has happened a lot today… Right before the 3 hour ban and then I played for about 2 hours after the ban lifted and it happened again. I’m thinking this band will be more than 3 hours. So I’m hoping my ban can be lifted, as this seems to be a halo bug and not an issue with my internal network. I say that because I’ve done some research on this issue and I’m certainly not the only person to experience it. Not to mention, I used to get this bug a lot and have since replaced my Xbox, modem, and router. Both my modem and router were found to have issues, but the new ones I’ve had zero issues with. Please undo my ban, and fix the banhammer to only affect the first quitter of a match and not count server disconnects as quitting. Those are easy and rational fixes right? Thanks!
By the way, I love the banhammer as an idea and I think it definite deters quitting, but let’s get it right.
