I appreciate the Banhammer as much as the next guy, it really makes it easier to get a game without 10 people quitting when you’re behind in a game, but I accidentally killed two of my guys with one swing in Grifball. and I got booted, Right before we won. I’m not really upset, I am just surprised. What are your thoughts?
I think maybe it was accidentally put in there I mean this was released a head of schedule, and even if it was planned this seems to be a big enough problem that they could fix it pretty quickly
I had two games where I got booted cuz of accidently killing teammates then was banned after the second game. I don’t really like that as team will lose teammates if they mess up on a swing.

It booted my brother who accidentally killed three people, one was me, so i left. The team wasn’t playing anyways. I immediately got the banhammer for one game quit early. This is so retarded and i hate to say that halo sucks now. Was really excited about grifball, but this isn’t worth it.
Ban hammer shouldn’t be in social playlists in my opinion. I love it in ranked but needs to go for social. KDA shouldn’t count in social either!

Boot option isn’t the same things as the ban hammer. However the boot option should not be in griffball.

You’re right, I was mistaken, I got banned for “leaving the match” as well though.
Too easy to slam own team in Grif, unfortunately it’s an algorithm on the bans and not actual review of what happened 
I got banned lost night. I can only conclude it was because of the betrayals in Grifball. I admit I quit a game and that tipped it, but it was cuz I was playing with a guy with a tag “<mark>REDACTED</mark>”. Seriously. Look it up. Point is, I’m not the worst quitter, but betrayals are rampant in Grifball.
So guys, suspend the Banhammer for Grifball.
You can’t really go for it if you worry about betraying. And you need to be able to bail if the opposing team tosses the ball over the wall or you have a teammate hammering his own teammates intentionally. I think you make grifball social only, no contribution to ban hammer stats and just leave it in the category of crazy fun.
