Banhammer for what? HELP!!!

soooo we’re 3 months out from MCC on XB1 and i got the banhammer on Halo 4 for no reason…
i couldnt believe it!
When i looked into why, I apparently had a ? for a service tag after recovering my account back onto my xbox… not even five minutes after being online on halo 4, the message popped up saying i now have a perma-ban from matchmaking… im assuming the process is automated but im wondering if there is any way to reverse it since it literally isn’t even possible to put a ? as a service tag…
I dont mod, i look down on modding, i just dont get it… some help would be greatly appreciated :c

Unfortunately, the ban is not reversible. They are automated and not reversible.

Also, your profile definitely still has “?” as your service tag, which is modded. If you didn’t mod it, someone accessed your account and did it and your account is ultimately your responsibility.

For reference: My profile has my appropriate service tag.
