Banhammer Broken?

I recently got 2 betrayals with a plasma caster, (entirely accidental) and was booted from the game. Then I was banned after I finished another game… These weren’t even back to back betrayals that got you banned in previous Halos, and I am not sure if you get to vote to boot either (push X to boot from game). I understand that toxicity in games needs to be punished, but I am confused and disappointed by the current Banhammer. I believe it should factor in things like; previous history, what weapon was used, and timing before choosing to ban for betrayals. I have been an avid Halo player since system linking Halo CE through gamespy tunnels online, and have seen previous Banhammers work flawlessly. This is just really frustrating because it is the first time I have ever been banned from any game, and it wasn’t from purposeful misconduct.

Is anyone else having issues with bans?

I’ve only played 15-20 matches of arena and don’t recall betraying anyone (not to say that I haven’t before in previous halo’s.) A ban for 2 betrayals, even in 1 game is too hefty IMO. I play warzone a lot; the only way to betray someone is with a splatter. I saw one guy mow down 5 of his own teammates with a wraith in 20 seconds; yet there wasn’t an option for a boot. I don’t think it exists in Warzone. Although, you will get booted if you kill yourself 2 times in a row.
