Bandana Skull Vote

Should the Bandana Skull be disabled or not for the achievements.

PS
Sorry thought I would be able to add poll to the topic!!!
So if you can just reply with No OR Yes

In my opinion, yes using the skull should disable achievements (or some of them).

Yes, but I wish people would stop making these threads.

I would say enabled b/c choice is a good thing. I’ll personally do all achievements without the skull so it doesn’t matter for me, personally.

I think it would take away from some of the Legendary achievements bragging rights so Bandanna and any other skulls that give an advantage should nullify the achievements or at least reduce the score like in Halo Wars.

Not sure where i stand on this actually but i wouldn’t mind either way. It certainly makes it easier to complete the achievements but maybe specific ones you need it disabled would be good like level specific ones so you get the best of both i guess.

Given the fact Ive beat all these campaigns before, I for one want to have the skulls enabled and be able to achieve the achievements.

I don’t see why people are making such a big deal about deal on this. How you play this game is how YOU play the game. If you beat the game with a skull on or off its your choice. Forcing your way of playing on to other players is not what we as a community need. Let everyone play how they want to.

yes I have all the campaign achievements already so it should not matter, plus it will be enabled for everyone eventually

I don’t give a flying f*ck about half the achievements or the people who think they’re special snowflakes for getting them. Blowing through hordes of aliens with a bottomless clip and endless grenades is fun as hell.

Just imagine. Unlimited dual wield able needlers. The thought brings tears to my eyes.

Nope- bandana wasn’t disabled in the past for achievements and shouldn’t be on this throwback. Stick to what works, especially since some fans are buying the MCC from Gamestop specifically for this purpose.

Caveat- sorry for a second post right after my first (still haven’t figured out how to cut and paste quotes properly on the new waypoint)

I totally, completely agree with you Dark Haven. It’s a ridiculous concept to even think that other gamers want to force their playing style on everyone else. Plus, having bandana available for achievement progression fosters more players who would otherwise avid campaign because of its difficulty.

Achievements are supposed to be difficult, hence the word “achievement.” Having infinite ammo, 60-second damage increase, or other buffs lower the difficulty.

no

Source??? (Not from a dictionary please, no need to insult anyone’s intelligence here) I’m pretty sure no representative from Microsoft has publicly announced that “achievements are supposed to be difficult…”

There are so many countless achievements, especially on Xbox One, that are extremely easy. I’m not saying that all achievements must be easy but I don’t like your inference that all achievements must be difficult either because that’s simply not true. Achievements can be crafted however the developer wants to make them.

Not true. An acheivement is “having accomplished something”

Halo has had achievements for finishing levels on any difficulty other than Easy and some on any difficulty level. It’s had achievements for getting to a specified low-level rank or earing a realtively low level of XP. It’s even had an achievement for having a specific amount of XP in a playlist on a specific day.

None of that proves your claim that achievements must be difficult.

The more difficult achievements are simply worth more gamerscore

I vote yes for the unlimited amo skull, but dose the skull work cross game? Such as halo 2, 3 and 4

Yes

Yeah because killing 100 grunts across 4 different games is such a daunting task.
