Bandana skull Halo infinite

Do you all think the bandana skull should be in Halo infinite and do you all think it should give you a bottomless magazine as well as infinite ammo I also have an idea for something I call the Ice Cube skull it keeps weapons from overheating what do you all think

It would be cool to bring back but it may come with a catch.

  1. It could be put in an extremely hard to reach place
    or
  2. Putting the skull on disables achievements or challenges.

I love the idea of open world Halo, but at this point right now, I don’t really understand how it’s going to work with a linear story mission - which is what 343 said Infinite is still gonna have.

So. I’m not sure how skulls will be used. Like do they work everywhere, or only when you’re in a mission? How do you get scored? How do you replay levels in an open world format? How do you mark which “levels” or “missions” you’ve done on legendary? Couldn’t you play on easy around the open world map, and just turn on legendary for actual missions? Doesn’t that make it too easy?

Having a bottomless clip Bandanna skull while running around an open world Halo just seems like chaos and mayhem. Albeit fun… I don’t think I’m all for it.

That seems like end game content. Like, maybe if I’ve done everything give me that skull. But it would just make the game so easy. Even though that does sound like a ton of fun. So I’m torn.
— On one end I want to be able to just find the skulls, on another side it might be awesome to have to beat a “boss” in the open world to get a skull…

At the end of the day, I’m planning to 100% complete all achievements on Infinite. So if the Skulls like Bandanna turn off achievement hunting - then I won’t be using them anyways. And if they are OK to use, then where’s the challenge?

I am saying that I think it should be in the game for any one who wants to use it it not like am am forcing people to use it would be there to use if you want to and if you don’t then just don’t activate it

I like that idea with the ice cube skull. It makes me think about the pulse carbine since it has the ability to overheat as well.

No I get you. I’m just saying, since I don’t quite understand how the whole Open World new format is really gonna work yet, I can’t even fathom how the skulls are gonna work. They are definitely putting them in the game (can you imagine the whining and complaining if 343 skipped skulls omg kill me now Halo fans are such babies). But typically you enable skulls before you start the game/mission. But since it’s open world, can you just toggle them on/off at any time? And again, do they halt you from accessing achievements? etc. I’m just really curious how they’re gonna work in-game.

The Bandanna is a lot of fun but like I mentioned on the MCC forum, I personally would like the skull revised so that you gain infinite ammo only. Have a separate skull for grenades. I mean lets be honest, it’s limiting what we can actually do right now regards to our campaign time and it would be even better to cheat in more ways like that of your starting options in Reach Firefight for various other things like health, shield, weapons etc. There’s not enough of this type of thing in campaign which really is a shame. I recall Perfect Dark had something similar and it changed up the experience quite a bit and I never understood why Halo games never had a toy box of goodies as in Crackdown to mess around with

Of course such a thing in place would have to be on a separate file save with the option only available upon completion of the main game for example
