Bandana Skull Bug

so i’m using the bandana skull on Halo 2 Av but the only weapons it works on are human. Covenant weapons still drain to zero and become useless. is there any way this can be fixed to all weapons like in Halo CE?

UPDATE: so the weapons the Bandana effects have to have rounds and not energy…343 fix this to all weapons please. you did it for Halo CE AV so changing its attributes of a Skull, let alone the only skull to be changed, after the fact you made it for a previous game is not cool and means the skull should be called something else like “Bullet Fest” Skull. please change it back to it original state.

Update 2: opened a poll partition if anyone wants the skull back to the way it was (just in case it’s not a bug and was diliberate)

You are the first to bring this up I believe. 343i will notice this and will fix when needed of course.

well it could be that it is…unlimited Ammonudge**nudge…sorry couldn’t pass that up

I had same issue with Alien weapons.

I picked up the skull in halo CE tmcc doom and achievement is unlocked, but me skull appears to activate the campaign :frowning:

Actually it isn’t just humans weapons it works on. Covenant weapons like the fuel rod cannon and the carbine work. It’s any weapon that doesn’t have to be reloaded that runs out of ammo.

You are mistaken about the covenant weapons because the Covenant Carbine Rifle and the Fuel Rod Cannon still have unlimited ammunition. Weapons such as the Plasma Pistol and Plasma Repeaters do not have ammunition, instead they run on battery power and shoot beams of energy (I presume). This I feel is not a bug but rather an intended feature of the skull. However, I could still see 343i changing that in the future by popular demand, I’m just trying to think logically as to why the skull works this way.

EDIT: Certain weapons are DRAINING to zero, emphasis on the word draining, because they do not run on ammunition. Instead, they have only a limited charge to shoot a beam of energy as a projectile. The skulls’ perk is “Infinite Ammo” not Infinite Ammo and Battery Charge. Although it is vague, I just thought I’d put it out there what I think 343i was getting at when they made the Master Chief Collection.

I agree, I pretty much said the same thing but more in depth.

You are being quite disingenuous to pretend they intended it in its current form when its ENTIRELY works in one game buy half works in others.
EVERYONE refers to a empty weapon as “Out of ammo” Ammo is ammo, It doesn’t say bullets.

Noticed a similar bug with Master-Blaster skull. Only difference is that the firing player only drains the battery powered weapons, but can still fire them, even at 0 capacity.
Another bug with that is that the melee player can still use a plasma pistol, btw.
