Ban

Due to game crashes and connection issues, I’m getting bans. So far, they’re only a few minute bans, but since I started MCC matchmaking, I’ve deliberately quit only one game, and that was because I dealt with a dude betraying my team in one game, and I ended up on the same team with him in the next game, so I left, and rightfully so. This ban system is unfair and flawed. Something needs to be done, so the system knows whether a player actually quit or not. At this point, I’m afraid to even play matchmaking, because I’m getting my nephew on Wednesday, and I want to be able to split screen with him.

It’s as fair as it can be. The system does know if you quit via the menu, what it is unable to do is tell if a connection drop was from a dedicated server issue or from you pulling your LAN cable /turning off your wifi / dashboarding. It just sees that you are no longer in the game. If you leave that unchecked then it leaves it open to abuse where players just quit as soon as they look like they may lose - which happened when MCC first re-released. Quitting was bad enough that these methods had to be introduced to curb that behviour
