the bans are getting always longer (24 hours!). are they going to continue to increase? am i going to be forced to not play for days, weeks, month…? is it possible to reset the duration? is this kind of policy really needed?
Yes and yes. it’s to give everyone else break from your continuous quitting. If you want the bans to stop, then stop quitting!
Repeat offenders do get punished worse the more they quit. If they don’t respond to lower length bans then the only viable option is to ban them for longer. Stop quitting and I think the bans start to go back down. But it will take time if they do. If not then you made your bed so I guess you get to sleep in it or something

Yep, that is exactly how it works and it is totally necessary. Halo isn’t like other games, you are expected to finish your matches even if you are losing.
