Ban people leaving Ranked. No exceptions

I can relate to this sentiment. I feel like if you leave a Ranked match, it should be a 5-10 minute penalty that escalates, like in MCC.

Think a rocket league like system could work. If you quit/disconnect you can rejoin if you decide not to ban (preferable escalating 15, 30, 45, 1 hour, 24 hour). If player quits other players can vote to forfeit and end game there (which prevents players KD to plummet due to a quitter and allows them to get into a new game quicker). Problem solved.

This is how it works in Rainbow 6: Siege as well, that would be a great solution

I got banned after finishing a 2v4 game. Its been 3 days, no help or answer from the support team on my ticket appeal. Dont know how long im banned or even why im banned. The ban system in this game is VERY questionable. Does anyone know if this is permanent

Which means bans don’t work. They’ll only affect legitimate players.

what if it was a discontent by internet going off? or by a crash? that type of ban would hurt more then help

This. All my “quits” in ranked were because i “lost the connection to server”, i didnt lost the connection to my ISP, it was always a problem on the side of the halo servers.
So why should i get a ban or even penalised, dropping in rank, even if its not my fault.
