Greetings, I was informed by my brother than his account has been suspended on Halo Waypoint for quite some time.

I have reason to believe that he was suspended for having an account similar to that of another,

however we have no access to this account at all. I’ve tried discussing with him ways to recover the other account if that is indeed his. However, from what we can tell there is no way to recover it as if it was his he does not remember any identifying information that might recover the account. On top of that, he claims that he did not know or did not remember having the account in the first place, and used a very close alias due to thinking some companies lock down random names or phrases.
If you look at the previous activity time via game history and achievements for thelogicplague, it was back in 2016 with no forum posts. The activity time via forum posts for thelogicplague1 was back in 2017 due to the suspension, however his game history is from 2018 and achievements even from 2020. Therefore, it is likely it can be handed into evidence that he had lost access to the account without the number, therefore later made a new account due to the loss of access or a small likelihood of different people.
If having names similar to that of another is a problem, he is willing to change it because he has since developed a new alias name and will likely change it to that.
