Quick question: I’ve quit multiple games due to either needing to leave urgently, power cuts, disconnecting and admittingly I’ve raged quit maybe once or twice and therefore been punished with a reasonable ban of maybe 20 mins. However if I leave another game like 6 days later because Im needed elsewhere urgently then it increments even more. My question is that is this timer reset at any point so it stops incrementing, like after 20 games or after a week or something? It’s getting to the point where if I leave a game a few days later, it’s giving me like 2 hours ban.
I personally will be selling my h5 because of the ban hammer. I didn’t pay 60 bucks for some bs like that. There are situations where I have to leave before the end of a match. And the hammer doesn’t stop people from leaving. They still do it and 90 percent of the time when one person leaves your team, your bound to lose. Therfore the ban hammer keeps you from playing, or it hurts your kill death ratio and your win lose ratio. 343 has lost a loyal customer who had been playing since h3 because of this.

You purchased a right a pass to play in 343’s yard. In order to keep playing in their yard you have to abide by the rules they set. Not leaving matches is one of those rules.

I semi-agree, the banhammer doesn’t stop people from quitting, however it does stop people from just quitting games constantly without any consequences. I think the banhammer just needs some re-adjusting, something like; after 15 games of not quitting or a few days of not quitting it should reset the timer not continuously add more and more time. Therefore, if you need to leave before the end of a match you can and you wont be punished with ridiculous ban times of over 2 days.
