just got ban hammer don’t know why, my son was playing and got disconnected so I put back on the game type/match that we were on again,this time the game was going fine and at the end the ban hammer screen struck, ban time said 0.42 and the message said grieving team mates ??? I know disconnections can count even though they could not be helped but still would like to know why as I don’t dc hardly at all and could not have reached what ever the limit may be, we were playing weekend rockets

thanks for the link, my msg said ban for " griefing" which means cheating and intentionally ruining the game for others but my boy is only 5 so I don’t see how he could have done that, he was learning how to play the rockets weekend play list (I know it’s easy to betray in rockets) which I think betrayals should be removed cos it gets mad in there, also I had red warning triangle on every game type, it has all cleared up now and I can get back on, I’ve never had a ban msg pop up before and I’ve played all the halo game and was surprised this happend and just was interested to find out why

Yeah, I can agree with you on betrayals being disabled in Rocket Party. I’ve ran a few games myself and accidentally betrayed a few people so it’s likely that could have happened.
It sounds like your son managed to betray enough people, get kicked and then received an automated temporary ban from matchmaking for it.

Really pissed off. Today in my region the servers have been complete crap. The servers have booted me 7 out of 10 of my recent games. Just got the ban hammer for the first time in my life. Wondering why the servers go down in different areas. For instance last night parts of California where taking a hit. Right now its the northeast coast and the bad connections are moving towards the center of the U.S.
