Cool ,so I play this game of slayer on Orion. The entire enemy team quits. It’s now 1v4. So I decide to try and figure out how to get this overshield put in a terrible spot. Repeatedly miss and it’s a suicide. I get kicked from the match. OK, I guess that’s cool. Sucks, but I understand. Go to start the next match I get the ban hammer and now I can’t play for 8 hours. What? This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. So you’re telling me what? I’ve been reported for something? Or that that’s my first offense and that’s what I get? For fooling around on a map. Good one 343. Forget yourselves going to go get my $5.20 at gamestop for this game.

you’re not fooling anyone, you don’t have the stones to trade the game in over an 8 hour temp ban
You’ve got banned because the automated ban system thought you were trying to cheat and give the enemy a free victory (suicide = -1 point for your team).
Purposeful suicides to hurt your team results in a ban. You are just collateral damage from that system.

Lol except they did a trash job with masterchief collection, this games smooth but talk about try hard wanting to get into esports copying league of legends in every way from reports to rank systems.
The auto ban for suicides is fantastic, so what if a few people get un rightfully banned, it’s the consequence of sucking so bad. It takes 4 suicides to get booted for it
It’s not that incredibly hard to get the Damage Boost*** (not overshield) and as Lykos said

Also they removed Orion entirely from the game (temporarily) while they fix it in certain ways, probably including that damage boost so that people don’t get banned like you did. But hey, feel free to return your game over it if your too salty to wait 8 hours and have that little faith in Halo and 343i.

Well I saw a few DNF in your game history so it might be that…
I have had a few suicides and betrayals, so far nothing has come up for me about a ban coming. I think a warning system would be good for people who are getting close to the temp. ban. So far the community has been good about not booting each other over betrayals when compared to other halos.

This is true. I have been very forgiving as well. I was playing Warzone and spawned in with a sword and Speed Boost II and instantly got splattered by a friendly ghost. I didn’t even get a chance to move and it was very tempting to boot the guy even though it was a clear accident. Hopefully others will be forgiving as well
I forget the map. but there is one that I seen at least 3 or players jump to their deaths because they thought they would land on a floor. I had it happen to a few times thinking sure there is a floor there only to find out NOPE!!! AHHHHHH. But after one suicide per match I was more care each time.

Is dnf did not finish? I had a couple in a row because the system servers would kick me did it like 3 games in a row wasn’t happy about that either didn’t drop my party chat or Internet was literally kicked out of matches to lobby with no explanation and kicked from fireteam but would remain xbox party chat with my actual team… so if that’s the case that’s bogus
I am happy they are taking some steps to dissuade people from quitting the games early or team-killing, those were the most frustrating aspect of previous Halo mp, when all the sudden I would be on a team 2v4 or 1v4.
