I have been a xbox halo player all my life and enjoyed the game until now.
I find it ridiculous to ban players just because they leave the game. I am currently in the country so the connection comes and goes, and sometimes I have been disconnected while playing. Consequently, I have been banned several times now for leaving the game. This is entirely unfair and might push players just to stop playing at all. You can’t just assume we live in a utopia where the connection is good all the time.
As an additional comment, I would like to express that I have left the game on multiple occasions due to the massive number of cheaters in the game. I have sent reports about several players for having overshields, or invincible vehicles, auto-aim, flying-across-the-map-cheat, and so on.
This cross-platform gameplay has brought nothing but trouble to the amazing experience of Halo and to be entirely honest, it is quite unfair for casual xbox players. Some games are meant to be for consoles, others for PC. And if you want to merge them first think about how to solve all the potential issues that this might come with before releasing the update.
I am happy to think I am not the only one struggling with this!

Happens to me on MCC. Sometimes my internet will randomly cut out, usually it results in a ban cuz not long before my xbox prolly crashed, causing another ban. It’s frusturating.
