Ban Appeal - Need Help. Support System Not Working

Hello,
I’m in desperate need of assistance getting a unwarranted ban cleared up. I’ve gone through the Support Ban Appeal process (two different cases) but that has only generated a bot response each time. My goal is to get a real person to work through this with.

I have no idea what would have caused this ban with the only thing being I had a couple game crashes but that should not warrant a ban, let alone a ban that has been now 7days… I think something is not right with my account and I would like to get this resolved.

I dont really know where else to go with this issue, and all I want to do is work with an actual person to resolve this.

Any assistance or past experience is appreciated…

As it stands, the system doesn’t distinguish crashes from quitting and, to the best of my knowledge, the support site is the only way to appeal a ban.

Actually, it’s an improvement.

As far as I can remember, Halo has never distinguished connection or technical issues from quitting and at no time offered a formal appeal process. The Bungie Wambulance and occasional double or nothing ban offer come to mind. Ah, the good ol’ days.

Im in the very same boat. Been almost a week and was told today my ban was for in-game activity. Ive never quit or dropped out a game and im always in party chat so never been rude to anyone. Unless im getting accused of cheating which would easily be disproved by watching any of my match history games. Genuinely shocked at this. Worst part is you feel you have no hope of getting it fixed.

How did you find out that you where banned for in game activity? The ban appeal response for me is always this generic paragraph:
“Please note that disconnecting from games will result in temporary bans from matchmaking as it affects the entire lobby. This is intentional and bans of this nature are not reviewable or editable.”
And its the same exact response to any question I ask in my two support tickets. Which is probably the most frustrating part. All I want at this point is a discussion with someone and to get this cleared up.

I just submitted a support ticket and that was the response i got. Its more detailed than your response but its still so vague. I cant believe they just ban someone without having some kind of dialogue to explain it. I know for a fact ive done nothing wrong. Im gutted.

Iirc, bungie never banned people for lagging out.
