Ban Appeal - Got DCd at victory screen

My gamertag is Stumpaxe and I got disconnected as the game faded to black after winning. Now I’m banned from matchmaking. Is there anyway someone at 343 can verify how long the match lasted and how long I was in the match. I was playing with my buddy Kellrish and he got DCd at the same time as me. Please help.

Even if the ban is short the next one will be longer. I don’t want this ban on my record

i know Im late to this forum but it happens to me often too. and the odd part is I have open nats on Verizon Quantum wifi. 343 can have dedicated servers but can’t even monitor their own game properly. This has been happening since I started playing matchmaking.

Same here. my first game everyday for that past couple of days have disconnected on victory and resulted in instant ban. Only happened after the infinity’s armory update.

I F***king hate the matchmaking in this game… i’ve been out of the country for 3 months so i practice abroad as a physician. i have been donating my time, and only recently graduated from med school. this has been my lifelong ambition, and i have only just now returned. and then i purchased halo 5 a few months late. Half way through a game, I go to answer my door bell, and miss the end. Only then do I find that I’ve been banned from playing any sort of halo multiplayer for the next 2 hours… this is longer than I even have time to devote to the game. I’ve been a fan of halo since the inception under bungie… And I even liked halo 4, and sort of tried to support the newest master chief collection… It was a good idea in concept, even though the matchmaking in it was just awful… But I have to say that between removing split screen and now banning me for opening my front door has caused be to reconsider purchasing halo products in the future… I own every halo product ever produced. My gaming rooms have master chief helmets and cut-outs from the legendary versions of the game. And the primary reason I’ve stuck by the halo franchise is for the mulitplayer, and the ability to play split screen. Without the social aspect there is little to draw me to the game anymore. I could not be more disappointed with this game, and wish there was a way to request a refund.

I truthfully fell as though I am owed a personally apology from 343 for this game’s release… Much the same as the release of “the master chief collection…”

Ive been getting banned after playing one game everyday consistently for 3 days. I just got slapped a ban of 3 days. I dont DC. I dont teamkill. Im an inch away from going into platinum. This has only just happened. This hasnt happened in previous months. Ever since infinity update however. Its a different story.

I want my -Yoinking!- money back give halo to dice or Nintendo, you morons have ruined this series… “we ban anyone who doesnt want to play 1vs4.” so who the hell do i talk to for a refund because i have no use for this -Yoink-

Hey folks. For any queries on matchmaking bans, please refer to our ban thread in the Halo 5 forums. Make sure to read over the first post and make a reply there if you still need help

If you bought a physical copy of the game from a store then you’d need to take it back there for a refund. If you bought a digital copy then you can appeal to Xbox Live support to refund your purchase and revoke the licence from your account
