What do you think of Ball-Boosting in grifball?
For those who don’t know (or may call it by a different name), Ball-Boosting is an unintended exploit present in grifball thanks to the Spartan charge ability. By timing a Spartan charge alongside picking up the ball, Grif’s movement buff is stacked on top of the charge, allowing for a player to easily clear half the map in approximately one second.
Personally, I find this to be pretty much cheating. It’s intentionally using an exploit that isn’t meant to exist. I’ll admit, I’ve done it a fair amount, but only if the other team is already doing it, or (rarely) if my team is getting squashed and I can’t depend on my teammates to help me score.
Thing is, I run into lots of full teams that use this to score every single goal in a short amount of time.
Honestly, I don’t get how people can find this fun. There’s no challenge for 90% of their games, and they’re over almost immediately.
So what do you guys do if you run into a team of these players? Accept your fate? Fight fire with fire (me)? Just report them?
If you are one of these players:
Why? Where’s the fun?
This is but one dtop is the sea of exploits in Halo 5 cough cough assault rifle but unlike most of them this one takes skill, not missing a controller or pressing one button. I think before thyley fix this they should fix the assault rifle having no refresh rate.

I’m unfamiliar with the assault rifle one and Google yields no results. Would you mind explaining that a bit more? Just for curiosity’s sake.
I do agree that at least Ball-Boosting takes a bit of skill to master. (Not a lot though honestly)
I haven’t played a lot of grif ball lately but that’s interesting that if you know it’s coming just charge them back and cut there momentum. Or is it just so fast that it’s over as soon as it begins?
Side note please explain on the AR glitch I’m not sure to what you are referencing either and am curious.
The AR doesn’t have a delay before it fires the next shot (Think like the carbine, you can shoot however fast you want) Modded controllers have came out that press the fire button super fast, causing the AR to shoot MUCH faster which reduces the kill time to almost instantaneous
