Balancing issues in maps

The map I have the biggest issue with is hemorrhage. I don’t understand why everyone constantly picks this map. The best analogy I have for this map is a scale that falls permenantly toward the side it starts to tip to. Whichever team manages to destroy the enemy vehicles first automatically wins. Normaly something like this wouldn’t be a problem because in other maps, Boneyard for example, there is enough cover to get around the enemy vehicles to defeat them and it’s not so simple to camp the enemy vehicle spawn for that reason. Because of the cover afforded in other maps it’s not really possible to be in a vehicle for an indefinate amount of time, and even if the enemy tried to camp the your vehicle spawn you would just sneak up on them while they try to destroy your vehicles. In hemorrhage There is very little cover, and what cover there is is little (ha). The majority of the map is open space. If the enemies decide they want to camp outside your base there is nothing you can do about it because there’s only a couple places you can spawn, and if the entire enemy team is there in vehicles it’s almost impossible to dislodge them. If you spawn outside your base enywhere there’s no cover on the aproach to the enemy vehicles so you’re screwed, and if you spawn in the base it’s just as easy to get picked off because it’s not that hard to watch people coming out of one of 2 exits on a small “hut”. Not to mention the constant threat of being picked off by the enemy sniper who is almost always a perfect shot (at least in my experience). That guy takes care of anyone that the vehicles miss, and can even help kill your vehicles should you make it away with any. The only real helpful cover is the 2 small cave systems on the map but if the enemy already has controll of the map you’ll hardly be able to even get back there once you get killed. All of this is especially a problem on objective based game types where if the objective is dropped it’s in the middle of the map so good luck trying to get over to it if you’re not already in control. The only time I’ve had matches that were ok is when both teams actually sucked so no one was in control. That and if my team happen to be the controling team which still bothered me because I knew how the other team felt. It’s just unbalanced. This map definately needs to be fixed in some way.

Feel free to comment on this map or share problems you’ve had with other maps or balancing issues.

Why would you pick a map based on a gamble? Yea you have the chance to dominate the entire time but what if you don’t come out on top? That and if you wouldn’t like it why would you do it to someone else?
