Digging what I see so far. Appreciate the Suicide and Ranger changes. Looking forward to testing it

Not nearly enough to put Banished in a good spot. Suis now do even less damage to Marines. They’ll wreck flamers now, but that only solves half the problem.

Marines buff got reduced so grunts/suicide grunts should be in a better place to handle them.

I like the changes. Seems like both UNSC and Banished will be viable at T1 again, but we’ll have to actually play it to find out

Didn’t they buff scouts to handle marines, tho? So theoretically (obs haven’t played it), you could combat a pure marine rush with scouts?

What stands out to me is that Elite Enforcer cost reduction. You could already get out plenty of enforcers affordably and now it looks like you should have plenty of disposable income to further propel you into the late game, I’m interested to see how this effects Arbiter usage.

Possibly related to the update, just noticed today that all my objective progress for the Operation Spearbreaker missions were reset to 0… Getting tired of re-doing things for this game to try and get achievements done when I get reset halfway through…

But marines aren’t going to be as dominant anymore anyway, and the speed increase to grunts is a big deal too (especially coupled with the raid decrease). Plus you now have scouts to deal with marines and rush units.

I am worried they pretty much neutered Cutter again… dialed back raid, brought his ODST back to being mediocre at best… when they buffed the ODST general damage before they reduced the damage they did against buildings with their charges… now they dialed back the general damage again, so I almost wonder if they will be even more useless than a month ago…

Not super thrilled with the changes, but I am not opposed to having both factions on more even footing early game. That would be nice if they could figure it out. I don’t understand the constant tweaking though…

Scouts were buffed not against marines and other core infantry, but against the rush units and anti infantry. The interaction is meant to be: core with upgrade>=scouts>anti inf>core inf. Scouts are also > rush inf.

The biggest issue currently in the game is siege turrets. Insanely OP

I think with this, there’s only a couple things that need to be balanced and we’ll have a golden game. Siege turrets and Hornets need to be dialed down a bit because they both got a massive price decrease AND damage increase. Maybe another pass at Mastodons, Phantoms, mines, and any other virtually unused asset in the game. Oh, and please fix the invisible Johnson bunkers. Overall really excited to see these changes.

It looks like we’ll see some variety again except for UNSC all the time. Definitely going to be better at stopping marine/flamethrower rushes as Banished now. I like the mine buff.

Now when auto detect for mines go away, I’ll be happier lol
