Balance so far after patch

What do you guys think about the patch so far? I know it hasnt been out very long but just figured id get something up for people to put feedback on as they see and play the game.

I have 6 games under my belt in 3v3 so far…all wins with a disconnect in first game (was winning)
I have only played atriox so far and this is what ive noticed.

Grunts are amazing now, they do well against marines and were very effective against air units. i found that even marines vs even grunts, marines will still win but you can get more grunts out then marines and overwhelm them just as they noted it would be.

I really like the way that resources work now, and it doesnt hurt the early game as much as i thought…you do need at least 3 upgraded power to keep up it seems.

banshees are still really good vs air, but not OP like before
elites seem to help more in early game infantry

ive been basically getting an army out early with a mix of grunts, engineers, elites, brutes and a few suicide grunts…then transitioning into air/scarab mid/late game and its been working very well.
kinsano is strong against infantry but still manage to out do her for the most part

I havnt touched tanks much…fought some and didnt really have a problem with them so far but i didnt let them mass…

anyway post what you guys come across…anything that seems OP or underpowered as you play the game more and lets get some good constructive feedback going to help make this game even better…Im having a blast so far and nothing seems over the top, but its early

Elites are t2 how are you doing an early mix of all those units. You must mean mid game, or you’re rushing tech 2.

i dunno what you consider mid game but ill have a good mix of all by 4 min…i start with power>grunt>upgrade power>supply>supply>upgrade supply>supply>upgrade supply>power…grab mini base as 5th is going up…start spamming grunts whenever i can…build apex on mini (build some engineers)…upgrade to tier 2 and upgrade power whenever i get 300 power again…by now i have around 6 grunts and grab all the nodes…build a war council and raid camp when tier 2 is done…start pumping elites around 3:30ish along with double pumping grunts and making more engineers…once i get 4 elites i start doing some brutes/suicide grunts depending what im seeing from enemy as im usually on way to pushing expansions and stuff…if i see alot of infantry ill do some more elites or if they have vehicles ill get some hunters…been seeing a lot of kinsano warthogs so ill do hunters until i get at least tier 2 air and ill transition to banshees…still working on the build but as of now its been working ok…its basically same thing i did as cutter just moved it over to banished now

i do find that upgrading the first 2 supply pads asap help with pushing units out early enough to start getting map control

I feel like forge was nerfed too heavily. No bonus to the passive leader power as buildings sitll cost the same, and moving vehicle assembly to the fourth rung of the perk ladder is a little excessive considering arch blast is in that rung as well. So by the time I can afford a $700 grizzly you can afford to nuke my base and take out all production. But dont worry it will only cost me 120 to rebuild that building… but still 150 for my supply pads…

It’s justice for all the stuff Forge players pulled before scouts got nerfed
