The balance is waaay off on this map.
- Red team takes longer to get to their armory effectively because of the few Elites that always go for a stroll on the Beach on the right.
- Blue team can get to Red teams armory faster than the other way around.
- Blue team can get into the Red teams Sniper nest (Dunno if that has been patched yet.)
These make it a pain in the butt to play Red team on this map.
EDIT: it has been pointed out to me that both sniper nests are accesible by the other team!

i was able to to still get into the red team nest, it did seem harder though then before
The nest thing is not a bug, so it won’t be patched. That is why there are base shields there. i agree that it is easier for blue team to get into the nest, but both teams can get into each others nest.
I think besides the elites for the armory, the map is pretty balanced, all bosses besides the center bosses at the base of the spire have to be traveled to get to. Unlike ARC, where whoever holds the garage can easily defend and kill all major bosses.
At least on Apex 7, a team needs to go to a place that isn’t really useful to hold, to get the boss kill. So even if they are leading, and they leave a base to go kill, the other team can capture and have a chance to come back in that style.

I agree. I don’t find it very unbalanced. It’s my favorite map, not including skirmish since I haven’t played it yet.

I agree that the boss placement is fine, it’s just a huge pain to get map control back when Blue team can hold of Red advancement if the manage to take the armory. (which is rather easy)
Apex 7 has to be the most balanced Warzone map in the game, 2/3 of the legendary bosses can easily be reached from the armouries with the spire having a faster travel time since it’s the main base on the map. It’s impossible to effectively kill farm because of the back entrance to the base which allows a route for players to sneak out and cap an armoury. Also it feels like there’s always a boss to go kill that’s out of the way (not a major balance thing, just a feature I like). A.R.C is built around an easy win if you cap the garage, noctus is similar with the monument, as for dark star I haven’t played it enough yet, maybe about 5 times it rarely comes up.
Both sniper nests are accessible by the other team. The blue nest is way easier to jump into.
Ok the point has been made about boss placement and sniper nest acces, but that still leaves the fact that the Red teams armory can be reached way faster by Blue team than the other way around and if Blue team manages to take control (which is made easy by the Elites on the bottom floor holding off the initial wave of Reds) it can really impact the map progress and control for Red team in a negative way.
Also Red teams progress is impacted by the initial Elites on the far right who go out to have a fun day at the beach.
