I was playing some Team Arena matchs earlier today and my team and I were diamond rank and I don’t know why but we had to face 4 champions, obviously they humillated us cause being a diamond rank, means that we don’t have the skill to face champions.
And it have happened before, at all playlist.
I would like to say that our search preference was balanced so it supose to match us against other diamonds or even onyx ranks.
It’s not exactly uncommon to face Champion ranks every now and then when you’re Diamond tier. You’d have more of a case if you were facing Champions all the time, but saying balancing sucks based on a few outlier matches is kinda exaggerated.
I’d have to agree with Warrior. The lack of balancing in match making is pretty bad. Updates or not it always feels like a crap shoot

But it doesn’t matter how much times it have happened, it suppose not to happen cause there are a “balance” for the matchmaking
It’s less balancing and more the population isn’t that big so you get people matching with people they shouldn’t be.

Yup that’s right there’s no balance in this game
It’s still very early in the season, so the MMR of Champions vs. those of Diamonds hasn’t really had time to spread. Once the champs all have an MMR of 2500+ us diamond players won’t be facing them as often if at all.
Plus, the visible rank (CSR) is not used in matchmaking, just MMR. So if the game matches you against players who ‘look’ better, that probably means they either haven’t been playing as well recently or you have been playing at a higher level than your rank suggests. I’ve been stomped by Champions and stomped by Golds; CSR really doesn’t mean much at all at this point. Just sweat each game and kick some -Yoink-, even if they’re champs.
