Locke’s team have a badge which looks covenant in origin on there shoulder Armour, any Idea as to what it Means?.
Maybe to mark them as allies of the Arbiter? Maybe ONI has different symbols indicating what rank they are?
Could be Arbiters Swords of Sanghelios Symbol i suppose, doesn’t look Human though.

They symbol is on both locke and the spartan on his right…hmm ranks or some kind of safe passage thing, depending where they are

yh, its on Three of Locke team, Gray Spartan you can just make it out, its red lines,and on The red Spartan and Locke its in Black Lines, cant see clearly at the ODST Spartan to see if its on there Armour as Well.

true, you can barely make it on on the gray spartan. also did you notice the spikes on the red spartans armor. around the collar area… I really wonder the direction that the armor is going in. I really like the helioskrill armor.
Yeah, Its a odd thing to have on armour, that being said in close quarter Engagements it would help.
The red lady has Mass Effect’s Alliance insignia on her right shoulder…
The symbol on Locke’s Right Arm and the Red Spartan’s Left Arm appear to be similar.
I’d bet something to do with Arby, or it’s a special ONI insignia.

Never played Mass Effect, the symbol looks similar to the one Google showed me but not the same.

I didn’t really get a clear look. My bad. 
If it were an Arbiter’s allies type of thing, i would imagine it would be more noticeable. I had a hard time seeing it and i knew where to look lol

Probably just something to symbolize that they’re ONI. I think it’s doubtful it has anything to do with the Arbiter.
Surely a ONI Badge, just like locke has as well would have Done?.

In the books, the Sangheili are all about that respect. so locke having to meet with them and stuff must have needed something to prove that it was ok for him to be on their home planet, if that is in fact where they are. it is all speculation. but still, it is plausible
