The underlying system that Halo 5 uses is the same one that was used for Halo 3. MMR has always been a thing in Halo, it’s not anything new. Regarding KDA, you should read some of the posts from Zaedynfel that explain how it’s not an accurate or fairer way to measure skill.
Yes, KDA is much less accurate at predicting who will win matches. It’s also meaningless in the presence of matchmaking. You have pro players with the same KDA as Platinum players because they have been in harder matches.
The MMR system does look at how many kills and deaths you have each match, and accurately predicts how many you will have in a given match, as well as whether you will win or lose.
Bad teammates isn’t related to the skill system. It already knows how bad your teammates are. It’s related to the available population. You will sometimes get bad teammates if you don’t play in a full party (that’s life) and if the number of people playing what you are playing is low at the time.
this is ridiculous if I watch my matches in arena mode I only won 30% and I’m still negative I’m platinum and today I only found champions and onix very ridiculous and unbalanced I’m not the best player in the world, but if the goal is to make a player give up congratulations
