So, this may end up sounding like a whining post so I’m going to apologise in advance: I’m sorry
Is it just me or does anyone else seem to spawn in between all four of the opposing team in arena while your entire flipping team is on the other side of the map?
I constantly have no less than three enemies on me at all times while the rest of my time is no where to be seen.
Is this bad team mates bad spawns or what?
I’m getting really sick of being matched with really bad teammates, I wouldn’t even say bad team mates, maybe just team mates who don’t communicate
(Yes I know my H5 stats are below par, its hard to not die when you’re constantly surrounded by the enemy team while your team is seemingly having a circle jerk in the far reaches of the map)
I don’t normally quit games, I don’t like quitting, but I really just can’t stomach playing games like this anymore
The spawns, especially on SWAT, or horrible. In a 2-hour session, I’ll be instantly killed a half-dozen times.
I’ve been spawn-beat it’s so bad, let alone spawn shot. It has also happened occasionally to my benefit - getting a killtacular due to teammates repeatedly spawning with a teammate that’s camping beyond my view.
Yea the spawns are sub par at best. Spawning away and close to team mates is an interesting balance. If it was like H:CE, you’d spawn on your team mate while they’re getting shot, but also if they were alone on an OBJ you’d spawn on them to help them out. While if you spawn farther away, you don’t get caught up in those fire fights the same but you are also usually miles away from any OBJ or assistance you can give your team mate.
Probably just bad spawns mixed with bad luck. This happens to me too sometimes when I spawn, an enemy is already there, kills me and when I look around, the gamertaags of all my teammates are miles away.
bad spawns, that is one reason they removed orion from the playlist. spawn trapping was easy. but other then that countless times ive taken 1-2 steps and bam dead
Spawn killing should never happen ideally. Nether should spawn trapping. if youre good enough to trap an opposing team you don’t need to trap them, you should just be able to win.

Using map control to force bad spawns has been a thing since Halo:CE.
i rarely find myself in a “bad spawn” situation. Except on overgrowth, which is just a bad map.
That changes if you’re playing swat, because the lack of health makes the spawning system even more crucial. They’ve gotta do a better job with the LoS spawning system.
