Bad Servers?

5 games and 4 with issues - 343 fix your thing!

It`s totally worse, a really bad release with your servers or whatever.
I get a disconnect or one of my enemies or my friends - how can that be?

Don`t you test anything?

  • blitz Card Hand Input Speed got worse, it responds alot worse if i want to do anything
  • rlly some Audio stuff that you dont rlly care about anyway and only when lots of Units are in Play
  • so you fixed a Crash that happened when a lazy guy cant even go once in the Options menu to make the game Fullscreen and who swaps both 24/7. nice fix you just added a Crash after every single game to fix sth useless as this
  • that minspec Crash is a horrible Thing (who Plays on min anyway)
  • favorite blitz deck so choosing your deck in the beginning, These 2 seconds are so horrible i seeand what did we get for this “important” day one patch that is btw 1.4 GB and you have to w8 like 10min till it actually starts downloading.lets gather what we got from it:- black screens
  • horrible Long time needed when starting the game
  • combined with a Crash after every single game
  • some People cant even download the patch
  • if someone else got more plz addwhat could have been fixed (that would actually be crucial to the game):- lagg

  • adding a MM Queue for coop or let us create games and give us a gamelist as simple as the one in WC3 (second time i mention this game already and it is 15 years old)

    besides from the lagg issue crucial Things about a game are the -Yoink- balancing, the fix of ingame related crashes that actually matter (using hotkeys to go to full Screen is so unimportant when the way to Options works fine. same goes for minspec Crash) and a mm Queue for everything multiplayer related even if its against the AI, not only one 3v3 gamemode.

That`s my opinion too - this game is nearly one week in our space and yeah the MP is really terrible.

I also want to add the fact the the xbox de facebook page deleted my critical contribution in which I complained that the multiplayer is faulty - not complete faulty but you really notice the mistakes there… I hope that will get fixed in the next days

after every game doesnt matter how it Ends the game is closing itself. if you surrender, game is closing. if you win, game is closing. i mean its AFTER the win so you get it, but its annoying as hell since the time to start the game is so insane thx to the “delayed day one patch”.

in Addition to this there are horrible laggs and no its not cause of the lack of Players which results in playing with peeps from america. when searching its looking for Players nearby, when nobody is found it is “extending” the search and if you dont get a full game it is searching on “max distance”. i started searching and got in a game asap with 2 other peeps and it was laggy as hell.

i can Play FPS games without any lagg, but halo wars 2 is well kinda annoying, but only when i Play a game where at least 1 other Person is in it.
i mean how can i Play lagg free with russians in cs go, but in halo wars 2 i have horrible laggs when playing with peeps Close to me.

you got a freaking full Price title and on top Micro Transactions not even counting the monkey you hired for so many Things ingame.
the game is hardly balanced in any stage. neither early game, nor midgame, nor lategame has proper Balance, menus are horrible and so on. game is transparent like a brick wall in Terms of stats.
any half decent RTS tells the Players hp of Unit, dmg, dmg Bonus to certain Units, etc (even warcraft 3 with different armor and atk types told you that and that game is like 15 years old).

And now, I searched one more game - were close to win, its laggy now aaaaaand - yep disconnect… Now 343 did a game where the story is nearly fine and now they give a a disease of lagg

I played HW2 on PC for the last days and I lost sooo many matches of disconnect errors, Won Matches which have counted as lost… WTF is going on?

On the XBox One the exactly same issue - and that sucks totally

Playing tonight has been really disappointing, I’ve played a few games tonight and a few earlier today and 60℅ have come up with network error after 10 minutes of play.

I only just about kept it together when it happened today 48mins into an epic battle, I think we are about to win, it disconnects…But the opponent’s played so well and had come back so many times I just don’t know so I’ve no idea of the outcome.

I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again. I’ve had more games where I’ve disconnected than games where I’ve actually finished. And of the games that do work? Half of those are filled with terrible lag. The thing is, the beta ran with no lag, and with 5x less disconnects… It’s a shame, since I do enjoy Halo Wars 2 multiplayer.

well i didnt get disconnects during multiplayer Matches only the game closed after them. maybe i was just lucky. but in firefight solo (had nobody to Play it in a Team with) i always get kicked out of the game at wave 30-35. every single time. i mean why. its lagg free since its against the AI but whatvalue does it have when i get kicked out of the game midfight.

Yep, I already heard that too - but it`s really worse that things like that happen on release…

the Thing is on xbox the game seems to work alot smoother. when i watch the YouTube vids of ReadyUpLive for example or Teams playing firefight multiplayer reaching waves above wave 50 without getting kicked out. since its a pc port maybe the developers didnt adjust the Code well enough for pc which is Messing with pc Players.

not only cause ist the state after release. the Thing is that the -Yoinking!- beta was rlly good in Terms of Connection stability and lagg but the release Version sucks hard. in Addition the day one patch improved nothing for me it made everything worse.

I will add that to my main post, you said, what I thought (y)

the Thing is they use Manpower to work on worthless fixes from a gamer perspective. Fixing relevant stuff first is important. every fix for unnecessary stuff like that above, even though nice to have, delays the important fixes. and its like i said only nice to have. i was able to complete the campaign without any Problems at all. who cares about side objectives so early?

what is more crucial:

multiplayer balancing, fluid gameplay in multiplayer, no crashes, no blackscreens

or

Fixing issues with savefiles in campaign (the missions are so short, who the hell is saving there?), Fixing Audio Bugs (well i didnt notice any Bugs there and i had massive armies battle often enough before the fix), making blitz Hand Card Response worse but saying its better, Fixing a bug with a min spec DIALOG BOX (i mean come on -.- at worst its a one time Thing after you changed to min Settings and then you go on with your life)


what i dont understand is what These companies think. its not only this game, so many games as a gamer you sit there and watch how they slap you in the face over and over again. then they wonder why they dont sell enough copies or why Players leave the game.

i mean yeah microtransactions arent my favorite in Addition if its a full Price title. but the Thing is a Micro Transaction model has an upside. they want to make Money from it and the only way to convince us to pay for this stuff is to have a smooth running game. even if they think they get good Money from it right now with a laggy game that is crashing, they would get alot more if they would fix it and make it a smooth game. some People get convinced of blitz after they add more maps, more variety to the gamemode and start paying then. so my hopes are that they actually Focus on the important parts in order to max Profits and that would be Fixing the critical Things and adding more maps

why cant they just take every dominion map as they are and simply let us Play blitz on them, both are Control Point maps. one is with base Building and one without. but since both sides start with the exact same chances at the beginning it shouldnt matter how big the map is or how many Control Points there are. all Players have to face the same map after all. this would be a rlly brainafk low Budget decision to give us tons of maps for blitz asap. its so easy and its right in front of their nose blitz is nothing more then dominion without a base.

or make fortress. the “fortress” doesnt cost anything and spawns a Building and 4 neutral turrets around it from your faction without specifications. every fortress lets your team use 5 more Units and you start with a cap of 10 or 15 Units.
on fortress the base of every Team contains a main Building with turrets of all Kinds. say 2 of each of the Basic Towers (anti infantry, anti tank and anti air) and a shield Generator + big unsc turret. when the enemy has 2/3 of the fortresses under Control the heal from the base is only 1/4 from before and the main Building can get attacked. if they dont own 2/3 of the fortresses anymore the mainbuilding gets immun and the heal is back to full (turrets are active all the time).

blitz is a mode without Building a base and through that Units. you spawn Units with Cards but why cant there be neutral Buildings on fixed Locations which are part of an objective. in fortress you cant Train Units through it, it just increases the unit cap and maybe energy reg bei 0.1/fortress.

or make king of the hill. instead of 3 Points to hold make one. let the Festival of abilities begin. make the hill move around every 30 seconds or so. like in the original halo games where i ran around on my xbox back then Holding that spot where the enemy could come from every side and it was easy to pin me down since the “hill” was so small and you could see me timer ticking (so i had to be in there). with a moving “hill” fast Units have a much better purpose and by making the map bigger you Need to spread out or be lucky with the hill spawn or you Need fast Units. you got Options.

with this you only Need the current blitz map, take the 3 modes and you have 3 completly different experiences on the same damn map. you just trippled the variety in blitz without adding any more maps and with just a Little bit of work and i even saved you the work of comming up with These ideas.

Does that mean that we have to - let`s say - “write” to the technical support there?

It is bad that Halo Wars 2 has so many connection problems - which many players complain about. Why do we have to contact Xbox technical support and not the developers? I feel dubious of 343 Industries and CA - As if only the money of the players counts and everything else does not matter. Like a functioning game…
So, Halo Waypoint will not be able to provide answers until such time as these serious mistakes have been resolved?
