After seeing the new Locke trailer I was impressed until I saw the end where it said GameStop exclusive armour. This isn’t kinda fair for those who don’t live in USA and want this armour. I hope in the future before the game comes out they announce this pre-order for other stores in different countries.

Can we also note that it is Locke’s armor, meaning that if this armor isn’t made available to everyone else (the wording on GS’ site is vague at best) 343 has cut an armor we know is already present in the game to dish out as DLC, especially since main character armors tend to see a little more widespread use. It better just be an instant access code otherwise I am definitely buying the game used or waiting for a sale or a deal of some sort. I am tired of seeing 343 being the epitome of market hyping, profit maximizing devs. They made retailer exclusive things for Halo 4 (awful idea), released details for the initial pre-order editions during the beta to garner as many hype/honeymoon period pre-orders as possible. I get that it’s a business and they need to make money, but could you at least do some consumer friendly things too? Oh, and we still have ZERO INFORMATION on what will be included within the limited and Collector’s Editions that are a quarter and over half the price of the current generation consoles respectively. That’s some information that would be nice to share sometime soon here.
Really I have almost no faith in 343 now. Call me butt-hurt if you want, but I am still waiting on the MCC to be fixed after I paid $60 for it almost half a year ago. I may be angry and agitated, but at least I am agitated with reason! This game is a little more than six months away and we haven’t seen any of the updated gameplay to show how 343 has tweaked the game from the beta. What about BTB? What about vehicles? E3 is still almost a month and a half away and I don’t want MS’ conference to be only Halo.
I REALLY hope its just early access, I hate when they take out in game content for things like this.
