Hi everyone, new kid of the block here. I post this because me like many of you had serious troubles running the game like ultra slow fps (15 frames even in low settings) or random crashes. My PC has a i5 4440 processor, 8 GB of ram and a GTX 960 2 GB. Nothing too special but a litle above the minimum system settings for the game. Also i double checked and have all the latest Windows 10 updates for my system.
What worked for me was rolling back the Nvidia driver for my card. I had the latest graphic driver from february that Nvidia claimed it´s optimized for this game, but with that the crashes were insane. So i uninstalled that with the latest display driver uninstaller and installed the 376.53 december driver from Nvidia. With this driver my instant crashing problems dissapeared (for now) and the performance seems pretty stable for me (60 frames in 1080p fullscreen with most settings on high and textures on medium). i have only played the first three misions of campaign without problems, so i don´t know for sure if also helps with some of the crazy performance problems people report from the MP modes.
Hope this post helps some other players with Nvidia Maxwell cards, hell, maybe it fixes some problems for other Nvidia models too.
