343 just announced that multiplayer lobbies are not ready to ship when Infinite comes out. Now single player matchmaking that’s done, that’s finished so they will be launching single player matchmaking because they don’t want to delay the game. But if you want to party up with your friends or use splitscreen in multiplayer, BTB, or custom games they are going to have that feature ready to go in season 2, 3 months after release.

Yes that’s right, until season 2 you can only play custom games single player.

But it’s okay, because you know what? Playing multiplayer with your friends is not that important a feature. If matchmaking’s done I say they just ship it. I mean I was going to play multiplayer by myself anyway, so who cares right?
