When I try to name my map in the Forge I get this message:
BAD NAME
“The name for this map variant cannot be displayed online. It will be replaced with BLAM! when playing on Xbox LIVE.”
The problem is I’m not naming it anything inappropriate. I’ve even tried renaming it to things like Cool, Awesome, and even MAP and this still pops up. What the heck is going on?
What were you naming it originally?
Xbox Live censors the lightest things
i wanted -Yoink–a-doodle Chomp! for my motto but they censored it.
I bet even Waypoint censors it.
I was remaking Wizard/Warlock and naming it Sorcerer.
Weird, don’t know why that’d be censored.
I think I had a map name “Predator” or something that got censored once. They need to lighten up on it.
Hate to bring up a dead thread, but I see the issue too. Named a map ‘Halo on Halo v4.0’ and it was censored. Named it Halo on Halo v4 and it was no longer censored…

It may be best to start a new thread rather than revive an old thread.
