Bad frame rate on Xbox one X Halo infinite flight

Every game I play of halo infinite flight on Xbox one X the FPS is awful sometimes not even 30 fps I’d say and switching to performance mode does nothing. Is there a way to fix this?

I think both quality mode and performance mode seems to show the same results on Xbox One X. That option is not working.

Being a version between an Alpha and a Beta it is normal to encounter certain problems, I have read around that by setting the FOV to maximum you should increase the FPS, I’m not sure but it’s worth a try.

Framerate in the multiplayer appears to a okay for me. But in the weapons drill section it gets realy slow and clunky combined with the weapon jumping around. Seams odd as it should be working better there because it is local and not an a server as the multiplayer if i am correct.

I’m on the XBox One X and despite anything I do the Framerate is an erratic 15-27 fps. I even loaded the game on an external ssd, while I did get faster loading, the fps didn’t change at all. So far I’m really disappointed, I thought this game had an extra year of development put into it.

The game isn’t out yet, the reason for testing it is to find issues exactly like what you are experiencing.

I think it may be a bug, Im playing on a Xbox One S. First Day I had frame drops but after the second map was added I didnt experience any frame drops.

Yes I’m seeing people comment of how smooth and great he game looks and I’m confused. Infinite is tertible on the xbox one x. It reminds me of halo reach in frame rate and graphics (and that was 2009). I really hope they do something about it and this isn’t some cheap plot/ scam to make us upgrade to the next gen consoles.

I don’t think its a scam, they mightve had trouble getting a stable 60 so for the flight they just had the 30 cap. But with all the optimizations I’m hoping it’ll be 60

I would be really disappointed if they don’t get it to run at 60 FPS. It runs horrible on my Xbox one X. I’m enjoying the game, but have to play around the framedrops…

Gotta remember a lot was changed from when it was being optimized to run on the older consoles. It will be optimized for the Series XlS and PC long before the Xbox one family.

It’s literally impossible to get the new consoles and probably still will be when infinite launches

Well thats the problem should have waited for the series x and series s . I told people that one x will not run next gen games well .

Yup, I’m on the Xbox One S. It’s very choppy and erratic. Gameplay is a bit clonky too. It definitely ain’t the smoothest right now. Once you get used to it then it’s alright. After a bit of playing it, going back to Halo 5 seems like I’m on next gen or something. I definitely hope it’s just a preview thing and will be improved by launch.

LMAOOOO halo 5 looks plastic and old . Theres litterally no detail.

i think the game will stay like this on the old consoles. i was also playing on xbox one x, i had the same feeling as you.

Yeah I know it doesn’t look the best, but I was talking about how it runs.

well thats the point . If u played on series X/S u will understand why it can’t run well on one x and one s . Everythinng in the game moves . Its just ot advanced it is a next gen game.

Seriously ? The CPU on the One X can’t handle all the movements . Like when u jump just look at how the gun moves from ur arm or even when u load . You made a huge mistake buying the One X thinking that it could play next gen games . TFLOPS ain’t everything …

I’m in the same boat. Hoping that there are some major improvements, since I was only playing in 1080p and found the gameplay jarringly rough.

If not I’ll probably wait after launch until the series x price goes down and I can get infinite bundled with the console.
