Okay, I’ll admit it, I suck with splatters, but I wanted to know if repulse a vehcile into an enemy will count as progression? I’m saying this because the challenge was quite vague in it’s wording. Esentially using the vechile itself as a melee attack.
I have gotten the splatter medal from doing this so its worth a try.
Thank you for confriming this. I’m glad I paid attention to the wording. I’m wondering how many people inferred this by themselves. Though I did post this to give a heads up for everyone to see.

I’m guessing that would include splatters with objects like giant containers, etc. It must because it sounds like the challenge is coded to the medal and no other specific requirements.

I know killing someone with the fusion coil is linked to the ‘Kong’ medal and saving a teammate from far away is linked to the ‘Guardian Angel’ medal, so it may well just be checking for the ‘Splatter’ medal for this challenge (vehicle use optional). Maybe.
When I killed someone in a hog by smashing into it with the chopper I got a ‘lawnmower’ medal which did not progress the challenge.

Do we even know what takes pirority? The medal system or the kill feed? If it’s the latter, then we need to use vehicles, if not, then there’s an exploit.

In that case i’m thinking it’s just checking for the medal and not the kill feed. Based on experience. However, medals are tied to the kill feed. So if a certain medal takes precedence over another. It will trigger instead. Like the different multi-kill medals you get for destroying a loaded warthog are weapon specific. So as long as no other requirements for other medals are met. Then a splatter is a splatter because the kill feed considers almost anything other than a weapon kill or Kong kill a Splatter or variation of a splatter (Lawn Mower, specific to Chopper if I’m not mistaken)
I think the progession of challenges are tied both now that I think about it because of the weapon kill challenges and killing spree challenges. Still, we won’t know unless someone gets a splatter medal from using anything but a vehicle.
Edit: For this challenge spcifically.
Same goes for knocking players off map with the repulsor. If you don’t score a hit first, it counts as a self destruct against your opponent instead of a kill for you. Stipulations and requirements for specific kills and medals needs to be made clearer. I’d test it but I never get around to the ultimate challenges anyways 
Well, I’m getting on the game in about an hour so i’ll try my best getting it. Though i don’t think I’m good enough to set it up though. Oh well. It’ll be fun regardless.

Get your hands on anything explosive or a grav hammer and just send objects/vehicles flying.
That’s a good question, I’m not sure. I got it by running people over so I didn’t try any other method. Running over your teammates doesn’t count though…uh so I’ve heard
